Blaugust 2025: Bucket List Bucket

If your bucket list were in an actual bucket, what kind of bucket would it be?

I’m pretty sure I came up with this question a few years back, when I needed an ice breaker for some group call, work lunch, or whatever it was.

My bucket would probably be the Costco Wholesale Bucket. Simple, inexpensive, versatile—a true workhorse of a bucket.

I don’t actually have one, since we joined Costco relatively recently, and I don’t really need them often. I already have two orange Home Depot Homer buckets, which was my previous answer, but Costco’s continued awesomeness has gotten me to change my answer recently. I should probably get some anyway, you know, just in case.

Some other bucket options:

• S3 bucket: kind of an obvious choice for me, but so much of my life already revolves around technology, and I don’t want to be too one-dimensional (same goes for Bitbucket)
• Giberville bucket
• Lolrus bucket: rip Minazo
• bucket hat
